My Weekend

Just a couple of photos of what I wore over the weekend and I have included some of my friends too as they looked gorgeous!

On Saturday morning I went to watch my brother, Finn, play football for his team Alkrington Dynamos! He's only 11 but he's an absolutely brilliant footballer (and I'm hoping he'll make me rich one day!) His team hadn't lost a game all season and this was the final match...and they won 12-0!! My dad had a banner made and we had alcohol free champagne so they could spray it about. It was a great atmosphere and I'm so proud!

Me with an air horn (I had waaaaaaaaaaaay too much fun with this!)

On Saturday night, we went out for Kirsty's 22nd Birthday to the Northern Quarter in Manchester. I had a really great time and it was nice for all the girls to be together again!

My new playsuit, wedges and a pink bag I got from Primark aaaaaaaaages ago that matched!
Had to show you Kirsty's dress from Topshop. Amazing!
Jess is wearing a Boutique dress and Kay is in Primani like me!

I spent Sunday out in the sunshine and I have also started learning how to do acrylic nails! I can't wait to practice. Watch this space!

I wear these earrings all the time! From Miss Selfridge
Taking advantage of the sunshine in playsuit and Converse

Kinky Knickers

I don't know if any of you watch Mary's Bottom Line on Channel 4 but I just wanted to say a quick few words about it as it's all based in my home town....Middleton! Her intentions are to make a quality underwear brand at affordable prices...and all made in Britain! I love Mary Portas and I love the idea of bringing the manufacturing industry back to Britain. I feel all patriotic now! They are available at Boots, Liberty, ASOS, House of Fraser and John Lewis. Oh and the packaging is what appeals to me more than anything. I am obsessed with anything vintage! xxx

And my favourite saying of the day:

Nom nom!!!

Weigh in day today! I lost 1lb which makes a total of 20lbs gone in 11 weeks! Woo hoo! 41.5lbs to go. That does sound like a lot but when I think that I started the year with 61.5lbs to lose yet I've already made a good dent in that...it makes me feel a lot better :)

Just thought I'd show you what I had for tea tonight. One of my old faves...pizza!! You can use your own favourite toppings but this is what I have...

What you need:
Warburton's Square Wrap (4pp)
2 tbsp tomato purée (1pp)
4 slices wafer thin ham (1pp)
2 cloves garlic
1/2 red onion
A few mushrooms
20g low fat cheese (1pp)
Pineapple, fresh or in juice

Instructions:
Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees.
Lay out your square wrap, mix the tomato purée and garlic and spread evenly on to the wrap.
Add the rest of the ingredients. Top with cheese and cook for about 8 minutes. Easy peasy!! I eat with salad and sweet chilli sauce (1pp per tbsp). Yummy!!

And here's some pictures. I'll admit, it doesn't look great, but it tastes amazing!

Girl's Night Out

Just a quick post to show you the outfits we wore on our night out! I also wore the same dress on a night out with my fiancé (he insisted as he hadn't seen me in it before). This is the first time I have felt good on a night out in a looooooooooong time! The dress was so flattering, hid all the lumps and bumps. Every girl needs a dress she feels great in. Lets hope I can find something else on Friday. Me and Kayleigh are going shopping as it is my friend, Kirsty's, birthday this weekend so we're going out for cocktails! Woo!

Me and Dave. These are my favourite earrings EVER from New Look. I also spent ages in Selfridges and Boots searching for an eyeshadow to match and finally got this one by Rimmel. Part of a set of 4 and cost around £6. Worth it me thinks!
This dress was £46 from Topshop. I love it soooooooooo much!
Kayleigh got this amazing playsuit from ASOS for £28. I'm so jealous and may have to get one myself!
My fail-safe studded ankle boots from Littlewoods and Kayleigh's sexy Iron Fist wedges xx

Bad times :(

Hi guys!! Totally off topic but I need to vent! I work in construction as a Technical Estimator. We have lost the bid for the contract I work on so I have been told that basically I have 2 options. I can be TUPE’d over to the company that won the contract but they are based in Leeds (I’m in Manchester). They’d have to give me the same pay and a company car (which I have now) but they can change my terms and conditions and put me on 90 or 30 days notice and maybe get rid of me if they like. Or I could stay here and do a different role. £4k less than what I am on now, no car and no fuel card. Petrol will cost me £150 a month to get here, I haven’t been driving long so insurance will be £200 plus the drop in pay…I’d be about £500 worse off a month. Neither are very good options. Oh and I’d have to buy a car with my zero money! I’ll probably have to cancel my holidays to pay for a car :( I know there are people worse off than me but I thought I was sorted money-wise. I had loads of plans and was going to get a house and get married…..and now I can’t afford anything! So I am a very angry Zoe today! I feel sick and I just want to go home :(

Happy Mother's Day!!!!

Happy Mother's Day everyone! I spent today at my mum's house with my Mum, Dad, Nana, sister Kayleigh and brothers Coby and Finn. I cooked everyone a Sunday lunch (Weight Watchers version for me, Kay and mum) which was lovely and we got loads for 11 ProPoints! Then just settled down to watch TV. Nice and relaxing. I love spending time with my family :)

So here's what I wore today. Went a bit more rocky as I feel like I can get away with more masculine clothes when I have hair extensions in (don't ask me why! lol).

You may notice that the military boots appear quite often over the next few posts. They were nabbed off my sister and she'll want them back soon but I love them so much!
These shorts are from George @ Asda. I love vintage style, light, scruffy looking jeans and when I get to my target weigh I fully intend on getting some amazing ones (I may have mentioned I am not allowed to buy clothes now except for holiday until I get to target? Eep!)
This is an Amplified Guns 'N' Roses tshirt (my favourite band of all time). It is one my sister's boyfriend was throwing out so I rescued it, cut it up a bit to make it more girlie and tucked it in my shorts (it's quite long!) Love it!!
I have a tights obsession and must have gone through about 30 pairs this winter! But this pair I got from The Clothes Show in Birmingham and have managed not to ruin yet (but you probably wouldn't be able to tell it i'd ripped them!) They're Henry Holland and are still on sale online.
