Black and White Wedding

I'm getting married! On 24th August 2013 I will be Mrs Zoe Temperton :D

Just thought I'd share with you some of my ideas for my black and white themed wedding and some dresses that I LOVE. I have the Church and reception booked but need a photographer (cannot believe how expensive they are!)

My beautiful engagement ring :) My nana has offered me my granddad's wedding ring for me and Cole to have our rings made out of. So lovely :)

My wedding cake will just be 100 cupcakes with special ones for the Bride and Groom. It means everyone gets to take one home and they look really funky as well. Think I'm going to have a mish-mash of cases and designs.

This is my wedding car :) I love anything vintage so I am very excited to get to ride in this Rolls Royce. Even though it's blue and doesn't go with the theme I've decided to ignore that as I love it!

This is how I would ideally love the reception but finding the damask table cloths and nice centres is a lot more difficult than I first thought... that's if I don't want to spend £100,000 on my wedding! Looks like I'm going to have to make a lot myself.

I definitely want roses. I love these with diamantés in. I think I'll have mine with black and white flowers and my bridesmaids can just have white.

How cute are these wedding nails??? I think I'll have white tips instead of the green and I'll be doing my own as I don't really trust anyone else with my wedding nails :/

Nice natural make up. I don't wear anything except foundation anyway (and false lashes of course!) so I don't wanna look overdone. I'm happy with flawless skin and nice lashes. Getting that professionally done with a MAC artist. Exciting!

The shoes have to be black. Something like this? Only problem is I am 5'5", cole is 5'10" so when I wear heels we are pretty much the same height. Plus I can't walk in heels and avoid them at all costs! So thinking maybe a kitten heel? It'll look classy enough won't it?

Bridesmaid dresses I was thinking something like these? I hate satin so won't be going for that. I was also going to have a different dress for each bridesmaid? They're all so different as people it just doesn't seem to make sense for them to match?

And now for the best bit...

WEDDING DRESSES!!!!

OMG I love them all soooo much! I want a vintage style lace dress but can't go shopping yet as I have so much weight to lose and they'll look terrible on me at the moment :(

Weight Watchers

When I moved to Majorca I cancelled my Weight Watchers membership thinking there was no way I would be able to stick to it here so I would try and make the right choices on my own. Well that didn't work did it? Lol. I put on 13lbs in a couple of months and was sooooooooooo ashamed that I'd let myself get so out of control again. When I first got here I couldn't eat much, my stomach must really have shrunk, but over time I ate more and more and more until I was right back in to all the terrible eating habits I used to have. Now, it's really difficult when you love food. I hate being hungry and despise diets but I always found WW really good and flexible as I could eat what I wanted in moderation or more healthy foods and be full so I always opted for healthy and filling food rather than wasting points on chocolate and cakes!

So anyway my point is that 4 and a half weeks ago I started WW again vowing to lose the weight I had put on before I go back to England at the end of October. My stats are as follows:

Weeks 1-18 - lost - 33.5lbs

Week 19 - on holiday

Week 20 - gained - 1lb

Weeks 21-34 - gained 12lbs

Week 35 - lost 4.9lbs

Week 36 - lost 1.5lbs

Week 37 - lost 3.3lbs

Week 38 - lost 0.2lbs

Only 3.1lbs until I am back to what I was before I went on holiday and 31.1lbs to target :)

Here are a few meals I have been having to give you an idea what I eat on the plan:

Enchiladas - 12 ProPoints
Mmmm...my favourtie! I only have 2 out of the 5 with lots of salad but they are very filling.

Home-made Pizza - 10 ProPoints
A very simple dough of self-raising flour, water and salt and top with what you like!

Toast and Tomatoes with Balsamic Vinegar - 7 ProPoints
I eat this pretty much every day now! Can't get over my white bread addiciton. Just cook cherry tomatoes in a frying pan with balsamic vinegar. I have them instead of beans, nom!

Chilli Con Carne - 13 ProPoints
Another one of my faves and you get quite a big portion. I actually has this for my lunch at 2pm and it's now....8pm and I'm not hungry (which is rare for me!)

Lamb and Mint Hotpot - 12 ProPoints
From the Hairy Dieters recipe book but with a few tweaks. Sorry about the picture of it uncooked...I had eaten it before I remembered to take one cooked!

Carrot and Coriander Soup - 0 ProPoints
Simple to make. Stock cube, carrots, onion and corriander, boiled in a pan and blended. My favourite soup by far!

Quiche - 6 ProPoints per slice (makes 6)
I made mine with spinach, spring onion, ham and cheese. Was gorgeous!

Studded Trench and Stuff

This isn't a very good picture (will have to find someone to take a better one soon) but I bought a gorgeous H&M trench/mac on eBay for only £8 then customised it with nearly 200 spike studs (also from eBay). An amazing, one of a kind coat for only £10! Cant grumble!

And now the stuff...random pictures from the last couple of weeks:

Me and my boyfriend Cole. I feel so lucky to have met him. He is the kindest, funniest, caring, intelligent, geeky, most beautiful man I have ever known. The love of my life <3

Me and my party lashes ready for another night out!

My latest nails. Acrylics with purple and white "gellish" polish on top.

A rare day at the beach with Cole who lives in Spain but hates the sun (?!?!?!) but he wouldn't pose for me *sighs*

Cooler than the Red Dress

Bought a couple of dresses from ASOS and had to decide on one for my sister's birthday night out in Blackpool at the end of October. I don't know what attracted me to bandeau's as I haven't worn them for ages (under arm fat issues) but maybe I'm finally noticing my weight loss? Obviously a long way to go but was nice to fit into a 14 comfortably (one of the dresses was even too big!)

This dress was by Club L@ASOS. For some reason was really big on me so had to be a no even though it is really nice. Only £16.50!

Loved this TFNC dress but for some reason the zip kept sliding down at the back. Could have done with a catch at the top really as it fit well but never mind. Maybe this one was just defective? £19, so another bargain!

And the winner is.......

This stunning red dress from Club L. Only £22 and I love it even though it's a bit daring for me. There are straps at the back (back fat danger) but the cross over material at the front hides the tummy so makes it super flattering. I liked it so much I was naughty and wore it out with Cole one night :(

Foxy Locks Extensions Review 2

Ok so my last review of the extensions wasn't entirely positive but I have been wearing them for over a month now and have become quite fond of them after I made a couple of changes:

Firstly I cut them. My hair is very short so to have the 20" extensions clipped in with no shape looked daft. I numbered each section as I put them in so I would know where they go next time, then layered them and shaped the hair round my face. They immediately looked more like my real hair!

Next I washed them. The ends had become really tatty after wearing only a couple of times but once they had been washed and conditioned they look really good.

I try not to wear them over night. It makes the extensions really knotty so when they're brushed a LOT of hair comes out. Not good.

I stopped straightening them. Instead every time I taken them out tie them with a hair band at the top (just below the clips), plait the hair together and secure with a band at the end. That means when I wear the extensions day to day I am only brushing them which will really help with the longevity of the hair. I have only used straighteners on them twice in the last month as I really like the wavy look!

So after changing all my bad habits, the extensions really aren't that bad. I would like mine thicker (even though my hair is super fine the standard pack still doesn't seem like enough).

So here's a few photos of me with the extensions in:

Foxy Locks Extensions Review

First of all... I took the plunge and dyed my hair brown, eep! No idea why this was a scarier prospect than going pink, maybe it's the fact that there's no going back, but I did it and I'll be honest, I hate it! I thought i'd be used to it by now but no! I think it just feels boring compared to blonde and my hair is in such bad condition and has snapped so much...hopefully in a few months I'll be more positive?

Anyway what I really wanted to do was review the Foxy Locks Extensions I ordered online. They arrived a lot faster than expected. Usually when I order stuff from the UK to be delivered to Spain it takes an average of 10 days... The extensions arrived in 4! Now I have read a lot of reviews for Foxy Locks, all of which have been positive but to be honest I haven't been overly impressed so far. I got regular 20" in Mahogany as I have very fine hair so I didn't think I'd need thicker... In the packet they seemed very fine and in my hair no better. If I were to order again I'd definitely go for deluxe! Also I have worn them 3 times in the past week, curled them each time, and already they are looking tatty, like the ends are splitting and dry even though I keep putting leave in conditioner on them... I guess I just expected them to last longer! Also it is claimed they are "tangle free"... I struggle to get a brush through them half the time and have lost a lot of the hair already! They are good value for money though compared to a lot of hair extensions ... Not sure if that is a good enough incentive to buy them again though :/

Here's a few pictures of the extension in and my new dark hair. Also I put my hair up in a scruffy bun using extensions and one of Imogen@FoxyLocks video tutorials to make sure the clips are hidden.

Coco Loco

As I mentioned in my last post I am planning on dying my hair dark soon...and I am absolutely terrified! I do actually really like my hair blonde and think it suits me way more than the red (or pink!) did. Unfortunately because my hair is naturally so dark (very dark brown with a few greys. I'm getting on a bit :() it takes a lot of bleaching and my rubbish fine hair can't handle it. I have lost a chunk of my fringe so have had to start parting my hair in the middle to cover it! I've lost hair from going blonde before and I never learn! This is the colour I plan on going...I went for mahogany because I thought I might find brown a bit boring. I've ordered some extensions from foxylocksextensions.com. I usually buy my extensions from a shop in the UK but I saw Foxy Locks recommended on another blog so thought I'd have a look. They were around 30 pounds cheaper than what I would normally pay and from what I have seen on YouTube they are of good quality. The owner, Imogen, also has a blog and puts up videos of hair styles which I have found really useful. I'll tell you what I think when they arrive but in the meantime look up http://imogenfoxylocks.blogspot.com/ for some hair style inspiration.

Loving crosses at the moment. I want a cross necklace next. Both of these were from ASOS in the sale.

Leopard skirt with a sheer panel at the bottom, also from ASOS.

I think I need to quit it with the leopard now! This is from River Island.

For some reasonn I couldn't get a good picture of these so I stole this from the website. I needed some shorts but to be honest these are too short for me :( Also from River Island.

I had been walking round all day looking for a pretty bag with a shoulder strap and couldn't find any I liked... and again I ended up in Mango and spotted this black leather bag with gold studs and fell in love!

These are the same stick on nails I put on a couple of weeks ago but I painted and pointed them for a change. I have bought a new set but these are too pretty to take off!

My favourite perfume in the world, Chanel Mademoiselle. I am obsessed with all things Chanel but obviously there is not much I can afford so I get my thrills where I can!

Last but not least a picture I took when walking with Cole to work of one of the beaches in Palmanova. I am definitely going to miss how beautiful this place is :(
