Denim on Demin

The scruffy but cool weekend look for taking the dog walking in the park. Denim on denim should be a massive fashion faux pas but for some reason it just works!!

Skulls and Leather

A gorgeous sunny Saturday and I'm dressed in all black! Though I never have been one for dressing to suit the weather. I wanted an excuse to wear my new outfit and the most GORGEOUS shoes I have ever seen! The top has a leather panel at the top to match the wet look leggings. Very rock n' roll.

Top - Littlewoods; wet look leggings - Topshop; wing earrings - Dorothy Perkins; wedges - Iron Fist.

Love Lipsy

I LOVE this dress! I had wanted it for ages then saw it in the sale and couldn't resist! This is my Friday "dress down day" at work outfit. I wanted to go for a 'punk edge' to it as well so I teamed it with my leather jacket, Bench boots and skull scarf.

Today's hair style....

Dress - Pixie Lott @ Lipsy; suspender tights - Henry Holland; boots - Bench; headband - Topshop; jacket - Littlewoods; scarf - River Island.

Tattoos

I know a lot of people aren't into tattoos but I thought I'd show you mine anyway! My mum met my step dad when I was 10 years old in a pub because he came to admire her tattoo! He is pretty much covered and used to be a punk back in the day! My parents have influenced me so much and made me the person I am today. Ok I am weird and geeky but I have never smoked, I rarely drink, I have never got in trouble, did well in school and got a good job so you may think I'd be a trouble maker but I'm really not! (This is going off people telling me I look like I'd be into fighting and drugs! Haha)

This was from when I was massively into The Lord of the Ring (part of me is still convinced that if I were to meet Elijah Wood he would instantly fall in love with me. Yeah, I know, not gonna happen. But we can all dream can't we?) The writing underneath says "Estela" which is "hope" in Elvish!

This was my first tattoo when I was 16. I had always wanted Chinese symbols (though now I have no idea why!) It says"Soul, Friendshop, Love" (hopefully!)

This is based on the artwork "Vampire Girl" by Victoria Frances. I have been obsessed with vampires from seeing Interview with the Vampire for the first time when I was 9 years old (I was always a strange child...)

This is very fresh here and my most painful tattoo! Because of the hard skin at the side of my feet it didn't heal properly and I had to have part of it done again. I could have cried!!

They're not from a particular song, I just wanted a tattoo on my hand and thought these would look good. FYI that is NOT the best way to go about having tattoos. They really should mean something. They have just become quite a hobby for me now.

To be honest I hate this tattoo! It started off a the 3 big stars and I thought it was too boring so I went to the tattooist and asked him to make it better. I do plan on getting it improved again soon!

My most recent tattoo. Me, my mum and my sister Kayleigh had the same one done,a ll on the back of our necks because we love each other :D

ANOTHER work outfit???

Ok, I really need to take photos of myself at the weekend sometimes but I always forget! I have a super awesome outfit I am wearing on Saturday though so I will have to make sure Dave takes some pictures of me then :)

Rock Chick

My dad has influenced me a lot in my life from my love of rock and punk music to tattoos.  Because of my bright red hair I do tend to avoid looking too 'rock n' roll' as I can look a bit grungy whereas I want to look trendy! So I added heels to what is a fairly simple look to make it more girly :)

This is my new baby Melody! She is a 16 week old West Highland Terrier. I love her so much!!

Top - Pixie Lott for Lipsy, Jacket - Littlewoods, Leggings - Topshop, Shoes - New Look.

50's Girl

I have been reading the blog of Sheryl (bitchcakes) who has an amazing retro, rockabilly type look which I have always loved so I thought I'd try and re-create this by using things I already had in my wardrobe so this is how I went to work this morning:

Dress - George @ Asda, Cardigan - Tesco, Jewellery - Asda, Shoes - Miss Selfridge

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!

Woo, 3rd July was my 24th birthday!! Definitely getting conscious of my age now but luckily people always tell me I look around 20 so I have a good few years of being able to dress trendily before I start thinking a perm and hush puppies seem like a good idea!!

This is my shopping outfit. I got lots of stuff from Topshop in the sale which I am sure will crop up in the blog at some point. My blouse, sunglasses and brogues are from New Look, shorts and jewellery from George @ Asda.

This is the evening of my birthday. We're all going for a meal at TGI Fridays. Cocktails, yay!!!

Love Jessica's outfit!

Carlie looks very 50's. Love her dress and she had cute pink heels on too.

My very trendy nana in a catsuit :)

My sister's boyfriend Gaz and my little brother Coby in matching t-shirts....

...and my boyfriend Dave and my little brother Finn in matching t-shirts. Both a complete coincidence!!!

My dad, sister Kayleigh and mum. Shame you can't see my mum's outfit it's a gorgeous retro a-line dress.

My dress - Tesco, shoes - New Look, jewellery - New Look, bag - fake Chanel from Tunisia.
