The one sunny day a year in Manchester....

Hello again (finally)! I am going to start having to make an effort to take pictures. The one chance I got to take pictures of a good outfit in a nice location I forgot to take my camera. Typical!

Anyway, apologies for my rubbish first post. I had absolutely no idea what to say so I'll try again. I have wanted to do something like this for ages as, not only do I absolutely love fashion, but I hate all the stigma that is around that means unless you are a size 8 you cannot be beautiful and fashionable and I want to try and help change that. I have become a big fan of GabiFresh.com. She is amazingly stylish, gorgeous and a complete inspiration to me. For years I thought I couldn't wear skirts, loose items (for fear of looking 'bigger'), skinny jeans, etc. But I got to the point where I thought "wait a minute, I see gorgeous girls every day that are not super skinny but have the confidence to wear what they want and they look awesome. Why can't I be like that?" And that's the key...confidence. I have never been a confident person. I was bullied in school and have always seen myself as fat, ugly and undesirable. And why?? Because I'm not 'perfect' (whatever that is!) Yet I have come to the realisation that, ok, I am not a model and more than likely never will be. So what? It's too hard trying to be perfect all the time anyway. I want to be able to look how I want and not be judged because of my size. I am sick of the media telling us how we should look. We should be telling them! As long as we are healthy and happy (and obviously looking fabulous) that's all that matters. I just want to try to inspire people like others have done for me. I spend so much time shopping online anyway I could hopefully put that to good use and help someone. So anyone who reads this, please feel free to chat to me, ask me anything and never forget how amazing you are xx

Ok, horrible picture of me but I just wanted to show you my nails. They're bright blue merging into pink. You'll soon see that my favourite colour is electric blue. I have EVERYTHING in that colour!

It's difficult to find somewhere nice in Manchester to pose so I thought I'd jut t them wherever I got the chance. This just so happens to be the local garden centre!
